Strong parental support is one of the hallmarks of the North Atlanta K-12 public school cluster and our high school is no exception. Much of North Atlanta's success is dependent upon the efforts of involved and committed parents.
The North Atlanta High Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) serves as the common point of support among the school’s most important stakeholders – our students, parents and teachers. Our goals include:
Building Community through school-wide events such as our annual Back-To-School BBQ, Warrior Tailgate Party and the Visions Reception for graduating seniors.
Enhancing Communication among students, parents and teachers through such tools as weekly emails, the NAHS web site, the school directory and special publications.
Reaching Out to Prospective NAHS Families by maintaining consistent communication between NAHS and our feeder elementary and middle schools, hosting tours during the school year and presenting special programs for eighth graders to better acquaint them with the NAHS experience.
Supporting Teachers through grants and faculty appreciation activities.
Accomplishing our goals depends on the generous support of our members’ time and money. Every North Atlanta parent, teacher and student is urged to join the PTSA. Your annual dues are an important part of our operating budget. In addition, we augment our financial support through a variety of fundraising initiatives during the year.
Volunteering your time and talents is equally as important as your financial support. Please review our volunteer opportunities and contact a PTSA board member to find your place in our community.
