Ms. Cook graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching at Georgia State University. Ms. Cook is an Atlanta native and is a product of Dekalb County Public Schools. If you know nothing else about her, please know that Ms. Cook believes very strongly in the power of literacy to change children's lives! Her goal is to build literacy into everything in her classroom, regardless of the subject. Literacy is inherent in all things, and Ms. Cook wants to invest her first graders in the idea that reading and writing can and will change their lives!
