D.H. Stanton provides a nurturing, student friendly, technology driven neighborhood school for students starting in Pre-K to Fifth Grade. We provide students a quality education driven by the Georgia Common Core Curriculum and an enhanced student life through the arts, music and drama. D. H. Stanton also incorporates Stephen Covey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” principles into the curriculum and encourages every student to be a leader.

D H. Stanton in located in the historic Peoplestown community and currently a 100% walk zone school. Our vision to be a “school of choice” for all the children, parents, and community stakeholders associated with our school. Our mission is to “Empower lifelong Learners and Leaders.”

    APS will host districtwide open houses at all schools on Friday, August 1st.
    High School:  1pm - 3pm
    Middle School:  3pm - 5pm
    Elementary School:  5pm - 7pm 
    We look forward to seeing you at open house!

    You have completed the approved program of study, passed the necessary exams and satisfied all of the requirements for graduation. You have reached a wonderful milestone in your education journey and are certainly worthy of celebration.
